Chicago Bulls are on pace to reach the second round of the NBA Playoffs, winning both home games and taking a 2-0 lead to Milwaukee. They look to go up 3-0 in Game 3 all while matched as the road faves. Check out our NBA picks for this highly anticipated clash.

Chicago Bulls On A Roll
The Chicago Bulls are on a roll, going into game 3 of their first round series with the Milwaukee Bucks with a 2-0 edge and momentum. They won the opening game 91-85 and covered as the 8-point favourites. In game 2, they clinched the 91-82 win and, once again, covered as the 8-point faves.

Going into game 3, the Bulls are understandably favoured at -145 to win outright. They have the form and confidence and the look of a team that means business in the playoffs. They are also the 2.5-point road chalk, which, given their current form and Bucks' conspicuous struggles with the tempo of the playoffs, seems a touch too low.

The Bulls finished the season with a 50-32 record, highlighted by a four-game winning streak. They've improved to six straight wins behind a 2-0 start to the playoffs and they have covered their last four games in a row. Overall, they are 41-43-0 ATS with a 3.2-margin of victory. On the road, they are 20-21-0 ATS with a 1.7-point margin of victory. And as road faves, they are 11-11-0 ATS with a 6.6-point margin of victory. The last stat is arguably the most telling and suggests the Bulls are undervalued as the 2.5-point road chalk. Ours isn't to reason why, only to suggest that it makes the Bulls the smart NBA pick against the spread.

Here's another capper's take on Bulls vs. Bucks tonight

Milwaukee Bucks In Over Their Heads
The Milwaukee Bucks have struggled to make an impression in the NBA Playoffs, thanks largely down to the stellar play of the Bulls. As they return home for game 3, they'll be looking to get into this series and make a fist of it. If the NBA odds were any indication though, the prognosis isn't encouraging as the Bucks are matched at +125 to win outright.

As far as price tags go, they aren't priced out of the realm of probability to win. Put this way, it wouldn't be surprising if they did win a home game in the postseason. They did finish with a 23-18 SU record at home in the regular season. But the chances it would happen are increasingly looking slim.

The Bucks went 19-21 ATS at home with a 1.3-point margin of victory. As home underdogs, they went 9-9 ATS with a 2.5-point margin of defeat. Therein lies the basis for the point spread in this game perhaps.

NBA Betting Verdict:
Despite some patchy play over the course of the two games, overall the Bulls have dominated the Bucks. The Bucks appear to be running out of answers both defensively and offensively. That's why there's a sense of urgency about this game. If they lose three straight to the Bulls, there's no way to comeback you'd think.

If the Bucks are to win game 3, they'll need to put up better offensive numbers. They've struggled significantly in this area, particularly in game 2 shooting just 35.6% from the field. Problem is though even if they perk up, the Bulls have an answer: Butler and Rose, who combined for 36 points in game 2.

Whichever way you slice the game, the Bulls have to be the choice NBA pick both to win SU and cover. That's at least our recommended NBA pick.

NBA Picks: Bulls -145 and -2.5
