The Bulls were going through ER-gate in Game 6, and even though they have been banged up for the majority of the season, Chicago gets one more chance to close out the Nets here in Brooklyn.

The NBA odds favor the Nets here at -6 ½, with a total of 182 points. Who will come out victorious, just to move on and get destroyed by the Heat.

Luol Deng looks like a lost cause for this Game 7. He has some kind of viral sickness that kept him out of Game 6, and in the ER the last few days. He had to get a spinal tap to make sure he didn’t have spinal meningitis. It doesn’t look good for Deng to play in this game, which could spell the end for Chicago.

Also hurting for the Bulls is Kirk Hinrich, who missed Game 6 and looks to be at best a game time decision for tonight. If both of them sit, I could see the Bulls getting blown out in this game. However with my NBA Picks for this game, I’m siding with a total that I find to be much more valuable.

The Sharp Pick

At 182, I think the under is the play of the night here. With so many Bulls banged up, it will be hard to find offense for Chicago, but they will still bring their top 5 road defense to Brooklyn tonight, no matter on who is playing. Chicago was dealing with a 6-man rotation in Game 6, and I bet they will have to roll short handed once again.

The Nets on the other hand haven’t been scoring the ball well anyways. Besides Games 1 and then of course 4 and 5, the Nets have not been able to score on the Bulls very well. I see this game having immense defensive intensity, and the total going under.

The under has cashed in six of Chicago’s last nine road games, and even though Brooklyn is cashing the over recently, I think this game and its meaning will have the under cash for our NBA picks . Closeout games normally touch the under in the playoffs anyway.

My Pick: UNDER 182
