After the most epic game of the playoffs so far, the Bulls will get a chance to close the series on the road and head on to play Miami in the 2nd round. However, winning a game in Brooklyn is not going to be easy, and the NBA odds makers agree.

The Brooklyn Nets are -5 ½ favorites on tonight's NBA odds boards, and the total has been opened at 180 points.

If this game is somehow tied at the end of regulation, I don’t think the Bulls will have enough to win the game in Brooklyn. They will have to knock the Nets out early. However, when it comes to placing our NBA picks, I do think the Bulls will keep this game close enough to have a shot at covering at the end.

Chicago has covered five of the last seven games against Brooklyn, and of course the Bulls have won the last three in a row. Chicago has also won seven of their last ten meetings with the Nets overall. Like I said above, I don’t think the Bulls will be able to win this game on the road. I think they will have to head back to Chicago to win a Game 6 in order to move on to face the Miami Heat

What Chicago has going for them has been their defense. As I have stated before about this series, the Bulls defense has found the key to stopping Brooklyn. Tom Thibodeau is putting on a coaching masterpiece in this game. The way the Bulls have really not even taken much away from the Nets. They are just playing good enough on defense to keep it close and give themselves the chance to win the game, and they have. I think the Bulls will once again keep this game close enough to get the win, and I think it will be within a single possession. Take the points with Chicago.

My NBA Pick: Bulls +5.5 at Bet365
