After getting worked over by the Nets in Game 1 from Brooklyn, the Bulls are set to try and tie up the series tonight.

The NBA Odds for this game favor the Nets once again, this time by -4 ½, with a total of 183 points. Will Chicago be able to make this a more competitive game, or will Brooklyn gore their way to victory once again?

I do think Chicago will be more competitive in this game, however I still like the Nets to cover here. The Bulls are still just too banged up to compete with the Nets. With Joakim Noah dealing with his foot injury, there is no way the Bulls can contain Brook Lopez. With him and Deron Williams likely going off again, I don’t see Chicago covering the +4 ½.

The Nets played good defense as well this past Saturday, and that has become a theme when they play the Bulls. All they have to do is play marginal defense and I still think they can cover Game 2. The Bulls’ offense on the road is awful and I think we will see that again tonight. The Nets probably won’t shoot 56% from the floor again, but once again, they don’t have to play a perfect game to cover the betting lines against Chicago.

In their last six games against the Nets including the most recent playoff game, the Bulls have only averaged 89 points per game in those six. The fact of the matter is that the Bulls can’t score and the Nets are going to take advantage of that.

Like I said before, I don’t see a blowout in this game, but I do see the Nets winning and covering in this game, so lay the -4 ½ with the Nets and add it to your NBA Picks for Monday.

My NBA Pick: Nets -4 ½
