The Bulls go to Bean Town and will try to continue they recent domination of the Boston Celtics. Let's pick apart the odds and find a winning free pick to take to the books.

NBA Picks: Bulls vs. Celtics

One of our better matchups in the NBA this evening is the Celtics hosting one of their main Eastern Conference rivals, the Bulls. NBA Odds for this game were a little late coming out, but now the Bulls sit as +3 ½ underdogs this evening. Both teams have a key guy banged up, so let’s take a look at the injury situation, and see if it will or has already affected this spread.

The most significant injury for the Bulls is definitely Luol Deng, who strained his hamstring in the Bulls game against the Raptors. However, Deng was able to play 48 minutes in the game, and score 19 points. He hasn’t yet tested his hamstring, and he is listed as a game time decision.

If Deng can’t play, that puts a serious damper on my free pick for this game, so make sure he plays before taking the points with Chicago. On the other side, the Celtics are dealing with a rib injury to Avery Bradley.

Bradley suffered a bruise and did not practice yesterday. He also seems like a game time decision for this one. Both Deng and Bradley are key defenders on their respective teams.

Chicago has covered in six of the last eight meetings with Boston, and now as underdogs on the road, I see some good value. However, if Deng cannot play, I’m laying off the Bulls. If he plays, go ahead and take the three points, but if Deng comes down to being out in this game, I’m not touching it and you should take your NBA betting in different direction as well.

The Sharp Pick: Bulls +3 ½ (If Deng plays)
