Our NBA consultant analyzes the specifics regarding Game 4 of the playoff series between Chicago and Milwaukee on Saturday. Will Chicago complete a four game sweep? How will Milwaukee respond being down 3-0 in the series and coming off a double overtime loss? This betting preview article has the answers and much more.

Bucks attempting to avoid sweep by Bulls
The Milwaukee Bucks will attempt to stave off playoff elimination when they host the Chicago Bulls in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first round series on Saturday at 5:35 PM ET. The Bucks have the unenviable task of trying to overcome a 3-0 series deficit, and that’s never been accomplished in NBA Playoffs history. According to the NBA betting odds at 5Dimes, Chicago is a 5.0 point favorite, and the posted total is 188.5. This will be the eighth meeting of the season between these teams, and Chicago has won six of the first seven.

Closing the Deal
The Chicago Bulls can afford themselves some much needed rest prior to the conference semifinals series by completing their sweep of the Bucks on Saturday. Chicago has now won seven games in a row and thirteen of their last seventeen overall. It’s of no coincidence that the Bulls improvement on the defensive end of the floor over the past two weeks has coincided with their current win streak. Chicago has held five of its previous seven opponents to less than 40% shooting from the floor. They also had a +9.1 rebound per game differential during those seven contests.

Take it One Game at a Time
The last time I checked, one team can’t win more than one NBA game during a 24 hour period. If the Bucks think in terms of having to win four straight at this juncture, they will just become mentally overwhelmed. However, by taking it one game at a time, they can place themselves in more positive mind set to succeed on Saturday.

Final Analysis
The Bucks are 0-4 SU&ATS in the last four, and they’ve also gone a dismal 7-13 in their previous twenty games overall. There’s no momentum on their side, they’re definitely overmatched in this series, and are coming off a mentally draining double overtime loss, putting them in a near impossible hole to climb out of. I’m looking for the Bulls to seal the deal in a convincing manner on Saturday, and my NBA picks will be indicative of that prediction.

NBA Pick: Play on the Bulls -5.0 over the Bucks on Saturday.
