We should be seeing a highly competitive game in Phoenix tonight, and the NBA odds would back that statement up. Let's break down the Suns' battle with the Bulls.

Odds Overview
The NBA odds are extremely tight for this game, as the Suns are favored by only 3 points at most of the top online sportsbooks. Make sure to keep tracking the live line movement in order to ensure you get the best number you can. You never know when that extra half-point or point will make all the difference in the world.

What kind of tempo should we be on the lookout in this game? The O/U is up at 202 points, so it's not like this is going to be a defensive battle. Points will be had.

Phoenix Suns
The Suns are on a roll, having won three games in a row, and they're now at 6-4 overall this season after a sluggish start. After a nice win over the Clippers, Phoenix has kept it going with a blowout home win over Denver and then another easy triumph over the Lakers (120-101). Sure, it hasn't been the best of competition, but the Suns have been doing the right things.

We can credit the backcourt for most of that success. Phoenix has been getting insanely good production out of both Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight, and there's no reason to expect that to stop. Those two have been getting it done night in and night out, and we also like the addition of Tyson Chandler, who brings veteran leadership and a presence at the rim. The Suns are shaping up to be competitive in the Western Conference, that's for sure.

So, how good have Bledsoe and Knight been? The former is averaging 23.0 PPG, 5.9 APG and 4.1 RPG, while Knight has produced averages of 20.2 points, 5.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds. When you're getting numbers like those from your two guards, you're going to be in a good position to win more often than not.

Chicago Bulls
Like the Suns, the Bulls have won three straight, so they come into this game playing well too. They just hung on to beat the Pacers by a single point at home, and now they'll try to earn a fourth win in a row out on the road. Chicago is 7-3 overall on the year and is currently just a half-game back of the division-leading Cavaliers.

Unfortunately for the Bulls, they're likely to be without floor general Derrick Rose, who is listed as doubtful to play in tonight's contest. Rose is seemingly always dealing with injuries, but when on the court he obviously makes a big impact, so Chicago will miss his presence. That being said, look for Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol among others to step up and pick up the scoring load.

With a team as talented as the Bulls, we think they can survive even without Rose available.

Betting Analysis
The Suns have been playing well, but we still think the Bulls are the more talented team overall, and we like the idea of getting a chance to back them as underdogs late this evening.

We'll have to keep tracking the status of Markieff Morris, as his presence would be a big boost, but nonetheless we are picking Chicago to come in and take care of business. We wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Bulls win this game straight up, so getting at least a couple of points to play with doesn't hurt.

With the more talented team from top to bottom, we think the Bulls will survive the onslaught that is Bledsoe/Knight and come out with the ATS cover for your NBA picks. No Rose hurts, but Chicago has the likes of Butler and Gasol who can step up and fill the void.

Pick: Chicago Bulls +3 at 5Dimes
