There's only one game tonight and it pits LeBron James and the Cavaliers up against the healthy again Bulls. Who should we favor with our NBA picks?

Odds Overview
What better way to head into the All-Star break then with a huge matchup between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference?

In what could very well be a preview of the conference finals, Chicago and Cleveland meet up in the Windy City, and the NBA odds board shows this game as a complete toss-up. Yes, the line is at a PK right now, though there are a couple books out there that have the Cavaliers favored by a solitary point. For those interested, the O/U is at 201.5.

Chicago Bulls
After a three-game losing streak had them down on their luck, the Bulls have responded brilliantly, winning three in a row to improve to 33-20 overall. They beat the Pelicans and Magic on the road and then had no issues getting past Sacramento at home two nights ago in a 104-86 victory.

Against the Kings, Pau Gasol once again had his way offensively, racking up 26 points while also grabbing 16 rebounds and handing out three assists. Derrick Rose also had a nice game, compiling 23 points and seven assists, while Tony Snell's 21 points off the bench certainly came in hand following an early departure for Jimmy Butler, who re-aggravated his shoulder injury.

Butler is currently listed as questionable for tonight's game, but it'd be a surprise if he suited up. The Bulls would be smart to play it safe with their young star and get him fully healthy ahead of the home stretch in the second half of the season. If Butler sits tonight, more bonus would fall on the likes of Gasol, Rose and recently returned Mike Dunleavy to pick up the scoring slack against the Cavs.

Cleveland Cavaliers
Now that they're healthy and have gotten much more familiar with one another, the results are starting to pick up for Cleveland. The Cavaliers are now 33-21 on the year and find themselves right in the thick of things in the conference race at the top. Would you be surprised to see LeBron and company at the top come the end of the regular season? We wouldn't be.

It's been quite a run for Cleveland, a team that's gone an amazing 14-1 over their last 15 games overall. The one loss came on the road against Indiana, but the Cavs have responded by beating both the Lakers and Heat in blowout fashion at home. LeBron has been at his very best, and it seems like Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving are getting more comfortable too. Throw in an always improving Timofey Mozgov and the additions of J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert, and we really like the direction Cleveland's going in.

Cleveland was in action last night (the easy win over Miami), but LeBron only played 31 minutes. Maybe the Cavs wanted him to be fresher for this road test against Chicago?

NBA Pick
Though the Cavs are playing great basketball right now, we like the value that presents itself with the home team tonight for our NBA picks.

The Bulls have turned things around of late and they'll want to close out the first half in style, especially against a conference rival like Cleveland in front of their own fans. Chicago gets up for these types of games and we think they'll do so again this evening, with only a half game separating these familiar foes in the Eastern Conference standings.

With an extra day of rest to boot, we like the Bulls to win straight up and therefore will back them at a PK line. Enjoy what should be a terrific game!
