With both teams coming into this game a bit banged up, I'm placing my NBA picks on the Chicago Bulls to pull the minor upset vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of this Eastern Conference Playoff.

The Line and Recap
NBA odds makers have come out with the line making the Cavs a -1.5 favorite.  With Pau Gasol hurt and the last game going down to the wire this makes decent sense to me.  It seems the second game away is when the visiting gets over their road jitters and plays much better.  I still like the Bulls though.  They took game one pretty surprisingly, then the Cavs got the next home win, and just the other day we saw what is probably to be expected in this series, a real dogfight.  Influencing my NBA pick today, what I liked from  the Bulls in that last game is that they continue to play tough defense allowing the Cavs to only shoot 39% from the field.

The Series in Statistics
Both these teams have ramped things up defensively.  From beyond the arc has been interesting as both teams are allowing above average number than on the year with the Cavs allowing 37.7% and the Bulls allowing 38.4%.  Despite the Cavs being better in that statistics Chicago has been has been better by allowing only 42% from the field, limiting the Cavs assists to below 20 per game, and out rebounding them by an average of 55 to 49.

As far as the injuries go it will be interesting to see if Irving can get going being that he has had a foot injury, and the same goes for Gasol.  I anticipate them both to play but to what level remains to be seen.  Although the public will most likely be backing the Cavs in what most would consider a bounce back game for Lebron and crew, I like the Bulls to not take anything for granted and continue a great defensive effort to pull the minor upset.

NBA Picks: Bulls +125 at The Greek
