NBA Odds Overview
Odds makers have come out making Orlando a solid +3  +100 underdog like at Pinnacle Sports. This is good value on a team that can hang with most teams in the NBA and should be pumped up for revenge after losing to Cavs two weeks ago. For one of my NBA picks today, I will take the young and talented Magic plus the points and look for them to win this game straight up.

Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland is averaging 101.6 points per game, while shooting 45.2% from the field, and allowing 97.7 points per game on 44.7% shooting. There is some good news for the Cavaliers as Kyrie Irving has a chance to be back in the lineup as early as tonight, but most likely will be limited minutes. That is a step in the right direction for them and could get them rolling. Last time versus the Magic in Cleveland, they were lights out shooting over 50% from the field and beyond the arc jacking up 35 shots from distance, seven more than their average. I doubt they will shoot the ball that well again because the Magic are actually one of the better teams defending the perimeter and Cleveland has not done a ton of damage inside ranking 21st in the league in points in the paint. With Irving possibly being back, it does make things more interesting, but with his limited minutes and not back fully in the flow, I expect the Cavs to have another tough night on the road.

Orlando Magic
The Magic are averaging 101 points per game while shooting 43.7% from the field, and allowing 98.7 points per game on 42.2% shooting from the field. Statistically, they are one of the better teams in the NBA, and I really like what Scott Skiles has done for this young and talented team. They have gone from a poor defensive unit to one that competes at a high level, ranking defensively fifth in opponent field goals made per game, fourth in opponent shooting percentage (above), sixth in opponent shooting efficiency, and seventh in opponent points in the paint.  Offensively, they are still clicking and Elfrid Payton is becoming a solid NBA point guard. They moved Victor Olidipo to the bench to lead the second unit which has benefitted them as a whole and Nikola Vucevic is a force to be reckoned with. Offensively, they haven't been overwhelmingly efficient, but they get up and down the floor forcing teams into their pace averaging 89.1 field goal attempt which ranks first in the NBA.

I will take the three points in this spot, and for one of your NBA picks today, I recommend taking the underdog Magic at home. They are a very good team and have a better than good chance to win this game or, at worst, take it to the wire.
