Our NBA odds analyst shares his top NBA picks for Wednesday’s abbreviated card. Go inside to find out what those NBA picks are and why we're inclined to bet them.

Miami Heat vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35 ET
Miami has gone under the total in all eight of their road games this season, and there was just a combined average of 182.2 points scored per contest. As a matter of fact, they’ve gone 18-4 (81.8%) under the total in their last 22 overall, and are allowing only 93.6 points per game this season.

The Nets have gone 7-3 under the total during its previous ten games, and that includes 3-0 during their last three. I like this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my Wednesday NBA picks will be indicative of that prediction.

NBA Pick: Play on UNDER the Total
Best Line Offered: 191 (-105) at 5Dimes

Portland Trailblazers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 8:05 PM ET
Portland has gone 6-3 under the total in their last nine away games. They’re holding opponents to just 42.8% shooting from the field in away contests this season. Portland will be facing an opponent tonight that averages 107.6 points per game. The Trailblazers have gone 18-8 under the total during the past two seasons, versus an opponent that averages 103.0 points or more per game.

Oklahoma City has gone 9-1 under the total during its previous ten games, and that includes 3-0 in the last three. They allowed less than 100 points on nine occasions during that stretch. They’ve also gone under the total in each of their last five home games. The Thunder enters Wednesday’s game having won five in a row. They’re 10-0 under the total (198.9 PPG) this season following two or more wins in a row.

Washington Wizards vs. San Antonio Spurs 8:35 PM ET
San Antonio has gone 5-2 over the total in their last seven, scored 103 points or more in six of those occasions, and shot 49% or better from the field six times. The Spurs have also surpassed the number in each of their previous three at home.

Washington has gone 7-1 over the total during their last eight games, and that includes 3-0 in the previous three. They’ve scored and allowed 103 points or more in seven of its last eight contests.

Both of these teams have displayed red-hot three-point shooting over their last five games. During that time frame, Washington has converted on 39.8% of their attempts, and San Antonio is at 39.1%. The Wizards have also allowed opponents to make 46.0% of their long distance tries during that same time period.

NBA Pick: Play on OVER the Total
