The Warriors are going to be down several starters tonight, which means the Lakers could actually stay in this one. These divisional foes have some nice things going for them offensively tonight, which could lead to a higher-scoring game.

The Warriors are turning into one of the better defensive teams in the league again, but without Draymond Green and Zaza Pachulia they could take a step back against the Lakers. The Warriors might be forced to play with more tempo, being without Stephen Curry and Shaun Livingston to run the offense, and with a total of 218½ I’m leaning toward betting the over.

The Warriors have cashed the under in four straight, but on the road they are 9-7 cashing the over and 3-0 cashing the over against divisional opponents.

Golden State is averaging almost 125 points per game in their three divisional contests this season, and they are giving up more than 115 in those three games.

The Lakers have been in a similar boat. They have allowed an average of more than 116 points in seven divisional games while averaging 111 points in those contests. Combine that with what should be a lightning pace from the Lakers, and you have a nice recipe for the over in this one. The last time these two met, Golden State won 127-123 in overtime. With all the Warriors' injuries it could be another high-paced, high-scoring night.
