Jimmy Butler has agreed to a four-year $142 million max deal to join the Heat via sign-and-trade. The 76ers will get Josh Richardson from the Heat. Maurice Harkless, who the Trail Blazers sent to the Heat with Meyers Leonard for Hassan Whiteside earlier in the day, will go to the Clippers in the deal and they will also get a future first round pick from the Heat to take on Harkless.
Whiteside may be the best rim protector in the NBA but getting the best out of him will be up to his new head coaches and teammates Overall, though, the Trail Blazers can still be one of the best teams in the Western Conference.
Thaddeus Young has agreed to a three-year, $41 million deal to join the Bulls.
Tomas Satoransky has agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal to join the Bulls via sign-and-trade with the Wizards.

Robin Lopez has agreed to a two-year, $9.8 million deal to join the Bucks, reuniting with his brother Brook. The Lopez twins haven’t played together since they starred at Stanford in college. Robin adds some rebounding and defensive help as a backup rim protector, which the Bucks needed.
Wayne Ellington has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal to join the Knicks.
Seth Curry has agreed to a four-year deal, $32 million deal to re-join the Mavericks. Curry played for the Mavs in the 2016-17 season and he averaged 7.9 points and shot 45.6 percent from the field and 45.0 percent from beyond the arc in 74 regular season games with the Trail Blazers last year.
Austin Rivers has agreed to a two-year deal to stay with the Rockets. The contract is for the veteran’s minimum with a player option in 2020-21.
Michael Carter-Williams has agreed to a one-year deal to stay with the Magic. Orlando gave Carter-Williams a 10-day contract last season with no promises and he carved out a role on the team, turning the small opportunity into a career revival.
Troy Daniels has agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million deal to join the Lakers. Daniels gives the Lakers an elite shooter to pair with LeBron James and Anthony Davis and he doesn’t affect the team’s cap space.
Elfrid Payton has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal to join the Knicks. Payton averaged 10.6 points, 7.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 29.8 minutes over 42 games with the Pelicans last season.
Enes Kanter has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal to join the Celtics, with a second-year player option. Kanter will fill a gap for the Celtics, replacing Al Horford as their starting center.
JJ Barea has agreed to a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal to stay with the Mavericks.
Richaun Holmes has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal to join the Kings.
Wesley Matthews has agreed to a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal to join the Bucks. Matthews had a 61 percent effective field goal percentage (eFG%) in catch and shoot situations, including 71 percent when left open last season.
Frank Kaminsky has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal to join the Suns.
The Thunder agree to sing Alec Burks. The 6-foot-6 ball-handling guard has a career 35.5 percentage from beyond the arc that will help boost their second unit rotation.

Kevon Looney (plus-3.7 Box Plus/Minus) has agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal to stay with the Warriors. The team reportedly met with Looney over the weekend in Los Angeles and reached an agreement with him and his agent, Todd Ramasar on Monday night. Looney has been indispensable on the court for the Warriors, becoming a foundational piece.
