After getting upset in game two I am backing the Golden State Warriors as a small favorite to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers today.

5Dimes
This game is almost a pick with NBA betting odds makers listing the Warriors a -1 in this spot. Five Dimes opened with the best odds for juice at -105. Although it might seem tempting to back Lebron in this game to continue to roll, the Warriors have proven resilient all year.

Can’t keep them down
Golden State is simply not the type of team you can keep down defensively for more than a game or two. Steve Kerr will make the right adjustments and they should get back to being much more efficient on the offensive end. In the first two games they were held down to just 42% shooting from the field. On the year they were second in the league on the road shooting 46% from the floor. As well, Stephan Curry shot 2-15 from beyond the arc, don’t expect that to continue.

Must Read: Check out this Warriors/Cavs NBA Pick for Game 3

Adjustments
In the first game the Warriors shot 44% from the field, but in the second game they were held to just below 40%. That is very impressive by the Cavs, but the Warriors should have a lot of time to adjust now and put together a solid game plan. The only time in the last month where they were held down so efficiently was against the Grizzlies who on the year were arguably the best defensive team in the league, or at least top three.

They play defense too
What often gets over looked with the Warriors is how well they play defense. Statistically they were the best defensive team in the league and held the Cavs to around 33% shooting in game two. Points will not come easy for Cleveland.

Despite any home cooking <a href="" target="_blank" title="Are Game 3 Opening Lines Correct & How Sharp is Early Money?
