The Warriors host a road-weary Pacers squad at Oracle Arena Monday night (10:30 p.m. ET). Check out our betting preview and expect Golden State to cover the number in the game for your NBA picks.

Indiana Pacers (10-10 SU, 8-12 ATS)

The Pacers beat the Clippers 111-102 at the Staples Center last night as 12-point underdogs. The victory is a rare achievement. Indiana is playing poorly on the road to start the year, going 2-6 SU and ATS in 8 games. The OVER is also 7-1 with the defense underperforming nearly every time out. Yielding 113 points per game in regulation time, it’s allowed the home team to score more than its projected total in all but three. Only the 76ers (118.8) give up more points per 100 possessions in the league away from home than Indiana (114.8).

One thing the Pacers do well on defense is to create turnovers. It forces 16.6 per contest, tops in the league. Golden State coughs it up 15.1 times per game, but garners so many possessions the number is largely insignificant.

This is the fourth back-to-back game for the Pacers this season. They are 0-3 SU and ATS in the prior ones, losing by 20 points per game on average.

Golden State has proven a tough matchup since Warriors head coach Steve Kerr took over in 2014. Going 1-4 overall, the Pacers lose on average by 13.2 points a night. They were steamrolled 120-83 in their one encounter this season at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Paul George and Myles Turner sat out for that one. All in all, the Warriors have scored 117 points or more in four of the five contests. The Pacers have put up that many points three times all season.

Golden State Warriors (17-3 SU, 10-10 ATS)

Golden State is coming off its second-highest points total of the season, routing the Suns 138-109 at Oracle Arena last Saturday. Steph Curry and company drained 14 of 21 from behind the arc in the win. The Warriors’ 119.1 points per game lead the NBA by a wide margin; Houston’s 111.3 ranks second.

Golden State is playing lightning-fast of late and will look to run an already-tired Pacers unit into the ground. The team’s 99.5 possessions per 48 minutes over its last 5 games tops the NBA in pace.

New addition Kevin Durant leads the team with 27.3 points per game. His efficiency numbers are through the roof. He’s on pace to become just the sixth player in league history to average 27 points or more while taking less than 18 shots per game from the hardwood.

Indiana Pacers vs Golden State Warriors

The Pacers likely used up all their luck in last night’s win. Since 2014, the Warriors are 8-3 ATS when hosting a team coming off a road underdog win. Only three visitors even reached the century mark in scoring. Golden State should easily push 120 points against a suspect Pacers defense. Indiana may even rest some players with a winnable game against the Suns up next to close out its 5-game Western swing.
