Another edition of NBA prop bets and looking to build on recent 16-6 record which I hope you have taken advantage of like I have in building that bankroll for the upcoming playoffs.

If this is your first time reading this, three elements go into using these for NBA picks. The proper bankroll to support doing something different, ability to do deep research and a real feel for the NBA on a day to day basis. Without these three components , you are wasting your time and money.

Let's get after the NBA odds with these prop wagers.

Thunder vs. 76ers - Oklahoma City First Half Points Over/Under 61.5 (-110)
Oklahoma City is starting to show signs of coming out of their funk. Let's not kid ourselves, this not same Thunder team which went to finals a few years ago, but one still wholly capable of big scoring efforts on any given night. Though Oklahoma City might not be engaged from the outset, against Philadelphia's defense, I fully expect them to settle into offensive rhythm by the middle of first quarter and over the next 12 minutes of game action I will forecast 40 points for them. With OKC 13-3 OVER the first half total in road games after a combined score of 215 points or more this season, look for them to score 62 to 65 in the City of Brotherly Love.

Prop Play - Thunder Over 61.5 Points by Halftime

Thunder vs. 76ers - K. Durant Over/Under 41.5 for Points/Assists/Rebounds (-115)
In researching Kevin Durant most recent accomplishments, for this prop wager qualifications, he has averaged 44.7 points, rebounds and assists in his past 10 games. With the aforementioned Sixers defense, Durant can pretty much choose how he wants his night to go and since he is like most NBA players, he does not mind taking advantage of an easy opportunity. For NBA picks, my only real concern is if the Thunder get up by 25 late in the third quarter, Durant could sit, depriving what should be an easy winner.

Prop Play - K.Durant Over 41.5 for Points/Assists/Rebounds

Celtics vs. Raptors - First Team to Score 20 Points
Boston has dumped three in a row and four of five and really has been iffy on the defensive end. With Toronto usually getting off to good starts, especially at home, the confidence-shaken Celtics lack the forces to contain the Raptors in the early stages of the contest and the Raptors build quick 20-15 lead and are the right play for this NBA prop wager.

Prop Play - Raptors First Team to Score 20 Points

T-Wolves vs. Rockets - Minnesota Cover First Half +5 (-110)
Even though Minnesota's record looks about the same as always at 22-46, they have been adding pieces and are not that far away talent-wise of being .500 club. Despite playing mostly on the road of late, the Timberwolves have been the right first half wager in five of their past six games. Spare any talk about two of those wins coming again Phoenix and Memphis, this is the freakin' T-Wolves we are talking about, not Golden State. They are at Houston, who is playing with a team with multiple personalities. One game it looks like they want to be a playoff team and two nights later the Rockets play like it involves too much effort. If you follow ESPN's twitter feed, James Harden's lack of even casual defense effort is setting up nicely for a montage on You Tube of how not to play defense at any level of basketball. Take the five points with the Rockets 10-19 against the first half line as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points this season.

Prop Play - T-Wolves +5 for First Half
