Clippers vs. Pacers - First Half Team Points Scored
In this contest, Los Angeles has a posted number of 52 and Indiana is at 51.5 for first half. How I view this one playing out is the Clippers had averaged 113.1 points a game until they lost at Toronto in last contest 112-94. Being on the road, this becomes a motivational part for coach Doc Rivers and he has his club ready to go from the start and they come out firing. Convincing them to give a better effort on defense more problematic, as they have allowed above their defensive average of 43.8 percent shooting in four of their past five contests. The Clippers have averaged 54.9 PPG in the first half the last 22 times they have are off three consecutive away games.

My first thought was Indiana should be a pretty solid Under play in this situation and I had the historical data to back it up. However, this is not the same defensive-minded Pacers teams of the several seasons. They have been trying to play at quicker pace and tempo, which has caused their defense to slip, especially against teams which also like to get up and down the floor. Normally, I would look to go against Indiana in a spot like this coming off the road, but with two days off, the Pacers are 9-1 ATS, scoring over 107 PPG and I'll support the OVER on them also.

Prop Pick: Clippers Over 52, Pacers Over 51.5

Suns vs. 76ers Largest Lead - Over/Under 15.5 Points (-115)
Both these teams have been blown out regularly, especially Phoenix lately in losing 14 of 16 and only covering five times. On the season Philadelphia has been much worse with a 6-39 SU record, with average scoring differential -10.7, the worst in the Association. With both offenses not strong enough game after game, have a hard time believing one team will open up a big lead unless one club goes stone cold and they start committing turnovers.

Prop Pick: Under 15.5

Wizards vs. Raptors - First Teams to 20 points
Toronto is on a eight-game winning streak and is one basket way from also being 8-0 ATS. The Raptors confidence is extremely high. They face Washington for the fourth time this season and they have taken all three, still angry after being swept in the playoffs last spring by the Wizards. Washington is still monitoring the minutes of guard Bradley Beal because of injury and have not used him in back to back since his return, which curtails Washington's offense. Count on another good start for the purple dinosaurs at -195.

Prop Pick: Toronto scores 20 first

Magic vs. Bucks - First Teams to 20 points
Nothing magical about the way Orlando is playing with one victory in last 11 contests, including losing their past six. The Magic have also been a rotten wager in almost every way at 2-9 ATS, shooting poorly some nights when playing better defense or scoring more and being a sieve on defense. Milwaukee's overall records is actually worse than Orlando's (19-27 vs. 20-23 SU), however, they have improved and definitely are playing better at home where they are 12-7 and 11-8 ATS. Of late in particular, center Greg Monroe and guard Khris Middleton have come out of the gates, helping the Bucks get off to better starts then most of the season, making them more appealing play at -160.

Prop Pick: Milwaukee scores 20 first
