Washington travels to LA in the midst of a four-game losing streak while the Lakers are hoping to score another win after downing the Kings in their last outing. Let’s break it down and cash a winner on Tuesday night.

Washington (30-44 SU, 33-39-2 ATS) vs. LA Lakers (32-41 SU, 27-44-2 ATS)

Tuesday, 10:30 PM ET

Free NBA Pick: Lakers -1 ½

Best Line Offered: YouWager

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3569072, "sportsbooksIds":[139,169,999996,19,999991], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

The Wizards are on life support and the next loss may see them flatline as they are now 6 ½ games back of the bottom seed in the playoff picture. With only eight games remaining in the regular season, it appears as though the Wizards are begging someone – anyone - to put them out of their collective misery. Saturday night the Wizards hosted the Miami Heat and it was more of the same, as Dwyane Wade was suddenly 23 again and dropped 11 points on Washington in the fourth quarter alone to deliver the fourth consecutive loss for a team surrendering an average of 118.6 points per game over their last six contests.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

🎥 Kyle Kuzma caught fire in the third quarter, finishing with 29 points and 6 boards tonight against Sacramento #LakersWin ;/a>
— Los Angeles Lakers (@Lakers) March 25, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

The Lakers have been officially eliminated from the postseason but LeBron James bucketed 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, while teammate Kyle Kuzma had 29 of his own as the Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak with a 111-106 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Los Angeles busted the game wide open in the third quarter as they broke out of the gates on a 16-0 scoring run with Kuzma lighting it up for 21 in that frame. The 106 points scored by Sacramento was the lowest output by an LA opponent in over a month and veteran center JaVale McGee had plenty to do with it, scooping 14 rebounds and coming up with five blocks while Sacramento was held to just 12 of 25 inside the paint in the second half.

The NBA odds board is reflecting the Lakers as 1 ½ to 2-point chalk in this one, despite their 12-22 ATS home record. However, it should be noted that their opponent tonight is a woeful 9-28 straight up and 11-25 against the number when on the highway this season. In the first and only meeting between these clubs this season, the Wizards trounced the Lakers in Washington by the score of 128-110 and held LeBron to a season-low 13 points back on December 16th.

However, this time around will be much different as LeBron has a pretty good memory for his painful outings and which team caused the heartache. In addition, Washington forward Trevor Ariza is unlikely to suit up for his third straight game with a pulled groin, and his absence will be LA’s gain. Let’s also not forget that in their December matchup, John Wall scored a season-high 40 points for the Wizards but has been sidelined since the first of the year after undergoing season-ending surgery on his Achilles heel.

Washington is swooning, LeBron has redemption on his mind, the most pivotal piece of the Wizards’ win in December is absent, and so is Trevor Ariza for this Tuesday night matchup. LA is in a good spot to win this one handily, so be sure to include the Lakers in your NBA picks tonight.
