NBA 2K20, the latest video game in the popular series from 2K Sports will be released on September 6 and the initial ratings for players were recently revealed.

Many players appear to have gotten a correct initial rating (out of 100) while others are a bit high or low. Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard are two of the most underrated names from the first list.

NBA 2K20 Ratings

Kawhi Leonard: 97

LeBron James: 97

Giannis Antetokounmpo: 96

James Harden: 96

Kevin Durant: 96

Stephen Curry: 95

Anthony Davis: 94

Paul George: 93

Damian Lillard: 92

Joel Embiid: 91

Kyrie Irving: 91

Nikola Jokic: 90

Russell Westbrook: 90

Klay Thompson: 89

Karl-Anthony Towns: 89

Kemba Walker: 88

Jimmy Butler: 88

Donovan Mitchell: 88

Blake Griffin: 88

Rudy Gobert: 88

Russell Westbrook shot just 42.8 percent from the field and 29.0 from beyond the arc last year but he has averaged a triple-double in three straight seasons and he deserved a better rating. The new Rockets point guard is three points behind his former teammate Paul George and Kyrie Irving and while he is ahead of very good players like Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler and Donovan Mitchell, I would have given him a 92 rating, not 90.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

OKC was never the same after this...pic.twitter.com/KKr037LNZS
— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) July 12, 2019
"}[/]

Damian Lillard does have a 92 rating but he also deserves more. Playing in Portland doesn't help Lillard get enough superstar praise, he has averaged more than 25 points per game for four straight seasons and his 2018-19 numbers were incredible, he finished with 25.8 points, 6.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 35.5 minutes over 80 regular season games, shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 36.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Lillard also shined in the playoffs, leading the Trail Blazers to the Western Conference Finals while averaging 26.9 points, 6.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 40.6 minutes over 16 games, shooting 41.8 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from 3-point range. He should have gotten a 94 rating, at least.

Houston Rockets Regular Season Wins in 2019-20
(Courtesy of BetOnline)

Over 51.5 wins -125

Under 51.5 wins +105

Portland Trail Blazers Regular Season Wins in 2019-20

Over 45.5 wins -115

Under 45.5 wins -105
