A seven-game slate awaits us to start off the week. Let's analyze the NBA odds and see where the value is hiding for tonight to choose some winning NBA picks for you to bet on!

Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers
Despite Paul George's best efforts, the Pacers have not enjoyed a great start to their season, as they've gone 3-4 through their first seven games. They were also in action last night, losing to LeBron James and the Cavaliers in Cleveland.

Tonight, Indiana is back at home, and George and company have been priced as 3.5-point favorites on the NBA odds board, though some sportsbooks are offering a spread of four. The total is at 195.5 points.

The Pacers had won three in a row before falling by just four points to the Cavs, with those victories coming over Detroit (on the road), Boston and Miami. George has been outstanding and is showing no signs of regression following his recovery from that gnarly leg break, as he's averaging 23.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game so far. George Hill, Monta Ellis, C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey have all averaged in double figures too, but make no mistake about it: this is George's team, and he's been amazing.

Let's see if Indiana can bounce back against the Magic, who have won two in a row and three of their last four. After a five-point home win over a good Toronto team, Orlando was able to keep momentum high with a 105-97 road win over Philadelphia. The Magic are also 3-4 overall this season; Evan Fournier has been a pleasant surprise, averaging a team-best 18.7 points a contest. However, the absence of Nikola Vucevic, who's currently dealing with a knee bruise, is a blow, and it's looking like he'll miss another game tonight.

That's one of the reasons we like the Pacers to win and cover, in spite of the fact this will be their second game in as many nights. George should have another big game, and we like how their backcourt (Hill and Ellis) matches up with Elfrid Payton and Victor Oladipo too. So, with our NBA picks, we'll roll with Indiana against the spread.

Free NBA Pick: Indiana Pacers -3.5 at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882559, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Detroit Pistons vs. Golden State Warriors
The Pistons are off to a great 5-1 start, and they have to be on top of the world after a stunning come-from-behind win last night in Portland, but oddmakers aren't liking their chances of staying toe-to-toe with the undefeated Warriors inside Oracle Arena this evening.

And, based on what Golden State has done this season, you can see why the lines are as severe as they are. At time of writing, the Warriors were favored by 13.5 points, with a sportsbook here and there even going as high as 14. The O/U, if you're most interested in a play there, is trading at 208.5 points right now.

What the Warriors have accomplished thus far in the follow-up to their championship-winning season has been pretty special to watch. They've still yet to lose a game and have mostly been blowing out whoever they've faced, with five of those seven wins coming by at least double figures. Stephen Curry hasn't skipped a beat and has been even more dominant, averaging an insane 33.9 points (on 55.3 percent shooting overall and 47.5 percent from three), 6.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. You'd have to think he'll go off again versus what should be a mentally and physically tired Detroit squad tonight.

While the Pistons have been one of the best stories of the season, particularly with how dominant Andre Drummond (20.3 PPG and 20.3 RPG) has been, we have a difficult time seeing them keeping pace with the Warriors tonight.

As we've seen, Golden State hasn't had much trouble covering these huge numbers, and this simply sets up as a favorable spot for them to take care of Detroit. The Warriors bench should be able to keep the pressure on, making us feel even more comfortable in laying such a big number. We're on Golden State to win big.

Free NBA Pick: Golden State Warriors -13.5 at Bovada

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882565, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
