NY Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors 8:05PM ET
It is best not to get hung up on the injury situation in this game. A leading player for each team is questionable for this contest in the persons of Carmelo Anthony and Kyle Lowry. By later in the day, the line will settle based on who is playing and who is not. Regardless of where the line finishes, I am staying with the Toronto Raptors as our play in this one!

Betting Analysis
The Toronto Raptors have recently gone 9-0 SU, 8-1 ATS following their (106-89) victory over Washington Tuesday night. In that contest, Lowry had 29 points, including 5 triples before leaving the contest with just shy of 4 minutes remaining with a potentially serious wrist injury. But, x-rays were negative, implying that although Lowry sat out practice on Wednesday due to soreness in the wrist, he has stated that “I really thought it was worse than it was, but I am fine.” Note that Lowry has not missed a game this season. Should Lowry not make post, Cory Joseph will start in his place. The Raptors outscored the Wizards by 15 points with Joseph on the floor Tuesday night.  Note that the Raptors’ leading scorer DeRozan averages 23 PPG and that 6th man, Ross, has averaged 14 PPG in the previous 5 games, while making 16/27 from the arc. In the previous 7 games, the Raptors averaged 109 PPG, knocking down 43% of their triples. In the past 3 games, their defense has allowed just 88 PPG, while limiting opponents to 28% of their triples. Regardless of whether Lowry plays or not, the Raptors are clearly a play on team. Their recent winning streak has lifted their record to 30-15 SU (just 2 ½ games behind Cleveland for the top spot in the East).

For the Knicks, Anthony will most probably be a GTD because of his ailing left knee. The Knicks are 0-5 SU without him, after the (128-122) home loss to OKC. That made it 3 consecutive losses for the Knicks, who have, as a result, fallen to the No. 10 spot in the Eastern playoff queue. Problems for the Knicks revolve around a defense that has recently allowed 112 PPG and 42% from the arc in its previous 8 games.

With these teams clearly headed opposite directions and the Toronto Raptors fueled by revenge to the Knicks on this court, I invite you to put the NBA odds in your favor and join me in my NBA pick on the Toronto Raptors.
