If Kristaps Porzingis is out again tonight, the Knicks will have approximately zero defense against the Bucks tonight. Carmelo Anthony faces one of his toughest assignments of the season and with their defense crumbling and Anthony ignoring his head coach again, the Bucks should roll tonight.

Bucks vs. Knicks

I’ve had bad luck going after road dogs this week, but the Bucks are heading into Madison Square Garden tonight to play the Knicks. With Kristaps Porzingis still doubtful to suit up, it could have some serious affects on the Bucks’ defense.

When Porzingis is off the court this season, the Knicks’ opponents’ offensive rating jumps from 109.2 to 114.5 points per 100 possessions. The New York defense is already bad, but Porzingis is probably their one good rim protector because of his length. If he is not out there, the lane is going to be wide open for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker. That spells bad news for the Knicks’ defense.

Just look at the last two games without the Latvian beats on the court. The Knicks gave up 129 and 115 points respectfully. Losing to Houston is understandable even with Porzingis on the court, but the Magic were missing their best scorer and still dropped 115 points.

The Knicks will have little in the way of defense tonight and with Antetokounmpo’s defense become elite, Carmelo Anthony might have some issues scoring the ball too. The Bucks are only -2 ½ favorites, but the NBA Odds have been increasing and I am jumping on board before it’s too late.
