For some reason the sportsbooks continue to undervalue the Grizzlies, and we are going to continue beating up the books when they do it. Wednesday is another perfect example of the books leaving the door open for us, so walk right in and demand your money with Memphis.

Grizzlies Vs. Thunder

For the life of me I cannot figure out why the Grizzlies are +5.5 in this spot. They are plenty rested, injury report is mild and without any stars on it, and they are easily the better team. Sure, the Thunder have Russell Westbrook and a healthy Victor Oladipo, but after those two there isn’t much offense for the Thunder.

OKC's best bet for offense after its two guards is the big-man duo of Steven Adams and Enes Kanter. However, going up against the Grizzlies is not going to be the easiest matchup for either player. Adams will have to deal with Marc Gasol all game, while Kanter will have to put some effort into stopping Zach Randolph off the bench. This could lead to less effectiveness on offense. With both of these teams playing strong defense, I see a teaser as our best bet for this game.

I love teasing Memphis up to +10½, especially because I don’t think the Grizzlies should be any more than +2 or +3 dogs here. The total is another story, but while the Memphis defense tends to play much better at home, I still see the under as the stronger leg of a teaser.
