Indiana is coming off yet another win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night and now they begin a long Western Conference road trip, which starts against the Phoenix Suns. Right now the NBA Odds have the Suns as +3 ½ underdogs and a total of 220 points.

My NBA Pick: OVER 219

The Pacers have only played four road games over the last month, as they’ve spent a lot of time at home over the last four weeks. They are 10-8 cashing the over on the road this season, and even though they have not played a lot on the road, they have cashed the over in their last two road games.

Even though they are coming off a big game and win at home, I think that could lead to a letdown in the first game of a five-game trip. They have pretty consistently given up 100-plus points coming off wins where they hold opponents to less than 100, and they are playing against one of the faster and poorer defensive teams in the NBA.

The Suns are allowing nearly 112 points per 100 possessions this season, and while that improves when they are at home, the Suns are still giving up an average of 111.7 points per game at home this season. With the Pacers turning in to one of the better offensive teams in the NBA, they should have no issues scoring against the Suns.

On the other hand, the loss of Myles Turner and the potential loss of Domantas Sabonis for this game could make a poor Indiana defense even worse. The Pacers might not have any rim protection at all, and that will only help the Suns rack up more points in this one.

The total has started to tick upward in this one, but there are just a couple of sportsbooks that have the total at 219 points, so go to Bovada to get the best line for your NBA picks here!
