Orlando got wasted at home last night against the Nuggets, but they forgot how to score and our over play on the game went in the trash. However, on the second night of a back to back, the Magic are against another poor defensive team, and I’m smelling a bounce back.

The Hawks are dealing with several frontcourt injuries that have killed their defense. The Hawks are giving up nearly 111 points per game over their last seven contests, and even with the Magic being without their starting guard, Evan Fournier, they should be able to score more than last night.

On the flip side the Magic should give up a ton of points as well. They have allowed 109 points per game in their last five and they have given up 112 points per game on the road this season

Orlando might also be without Aaron Gordon tonight who was injured on Friday and is listed as out on the game notes. If Gordon can’t play, Orlando’s offense takes a hit, but it also hurts the Magic defense.

Neither team is going to have any defense at the rim, and after their first meeting, this total has lowered enough where the over is back in play. Despite this game featuring washed up veterans like Aron Afflalo and guys who might be better off with a stint in the G-League, there should also be no defense found for miles.
