DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo reportedly signed with the Lakers. Cousins agreed to a one-year, veteran's minimum deal while Rondo returns on a two-year veteran's minimum deal.

<div><p>Cousins and Rondo will reunite former Pelicans teammate Anthony Davis. The three of them played together in New Orleans in the 2017-18 season.<br /><br /><a href="" target="_blank">Anthony Davis</a> (plus-8.5 Box Plus/Minus) averaged 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.6 steals, shooting 51.7 percent and 33.1 percent from 3-point range in 33.0 minutes over just 56 games last season and he was third in the <a href="" target="_blank">NBA</a> with a 30.3 Player Efficiency Rating (PER), just behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden.</p><p>Basketball is a team sport and LeBron James and Anthony Davis can't do it all by themselves, which is why the Lakers are building a roster with decent depth and playmakers, after missing out on <a href="" target="_blank">Kawhi Leonard</a>.</p><p><strong>Lakers Roster &amp; Starting Lineup With DeMarcus Cousins</strong></p><p>*Notates expected starter</p><p>C: DeMarcus Cousins*, JaVale McGee<br />PF: Anthony Davis*, Kyle Kuzma, Talen Horton-Tucker<br />SF: LeBron James*, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jared Dudley<br />SG: Danny Green*, Troy Daniels<br />PG: Rajon Rondo*, Quinn Cook, Alex Caruso</p><p>With JaVale McGee, the Lakers get back a big man that played at a high level last season, averaging 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 22.3 minutes over 75 games (62 starts).
