With the Pelicans playing on the second night of a back to back at home, there could be some value in the NBA Odds for the total of this one. At 217 points, there is a chance this one is as high scoring as last night’s game for New Orleans.

The Pelicans big men put up big games against the Mavs last night, but no one else from the Pelicans had anything going. Now they have to face the Knicks on no rest, a team that’s been somewhat solid this year defensively.

However, while the battle between Anthony Davis and Kristaps Porzingis, along with Enes Kanter versus DeMarcus Cousins are both going to be entertaining, with the Pelicans coming in tired, I expect them to give up some points to the Knicks as well.

On no rest this season, the Pelicans have cashed the over at just 2-3, but they are 22-13 cashing the over this season and they are 12-5 cashing the over when playing at home.

The Knicks, on the other hand, are 6-2-1 cashing the over in their last nine road games, and during those games, they have given up nearly 109 points per game. If that continues against this talented but tired Pelicans team, this one could speed up in a hurry.

With New Orleans averaging 114 points per game at home this season, I love the over for them and the Knicks on Saturday night.
