Nets star forward Kevin Durant recently said that the Warriors are not responsible for the Achilles injury that could force him to sit out next season.

In an interview with Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports yesterday, the two-time NBA champion discussed his Achilles tear and said that he did not blame the Warriors for it.

"Hell, no. How can you blame [the Warriors]? Hell, no. I heard the Warriors pressured me into getting back. Nobody never said a word to me during rehab as I was coming back. It was only me and [director of sports medicine and performance] Rick [Celebrini] working out every day.

Right when the series started, I targeted Game 5. Hell, nah. It just happened. It's basketball. S— happens. Nobody was responsible for it. It was just the game. We just need to move on from that s— because I'm going to be back playing."

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan ... Coach Steve Kerr says he was told Durant could not further injure himself by playing, which obviously proved not to be true. If Durant was told the same, it would give credence to the notion that, as one league executive claims, "He's really pissed off at the Warriors."
