SBR’s own Swinging Johnson is white hot since he began releasing his NBA picks for the last three consecutive Fridays and is looking to keep that pristine record in check with two more lock line winners tonight!

NBA Record (6-0 ATS)
We kept the money train rolling along last Friday night with ATS winners on the Boston Celtics -5 over the Orlando Magic and then clicked with ‘over’ 206 ½ in the Kings/76’ers tilt. Let’s peer into our crystal ball and peruse the NBA betting odds as we look to do it all over again.

Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat
The Nuggets have played over the posted total in NBA odds in four of their last five games while the Heat has played under in three of their last five. But tonight we will see a Denver Nuggets’ team that will be playing in their fourth of a five game road trip and clashed just last night in Houston only to come up on the short end of 118-108 decision. That loss was primarily the result of a phenomenal effort by Houston’s James Harden who put up a career best 50 points.

Miami has pulled off impressive home victories over their last two contests with a 106-92 win over the Cavaliers and then on Wednesday night when they made the home crowd happy yet again by out-dueling the Trailblazers 108-104. But tonight they face a Denver team that should be dragging after back-to-back games on Sunday and Monday and now again after traveling to Houston last night only to pack up and play in South Beach tonight.

In their sole meeting this season the teams combined for 184 points in Denver, far short of the NBA odds posted total of 203. I believe this will be another low scoring contest with the Nuggets staggering into yet another hostile environment while the Heat take the court with the 26th ranked offense but offset by their 8th ranked defense.

In further betting trends, we should note the following:

Denver has gone under in 17 of 23 games this season when they face an opponent with a losing record.

Miami has gone under 20 of 26 times after a non-conference game.

Miami has gone under 26 of 38 occasions when facing a team that averages 99 points or better.

NBA Pick: Under 208 ½ at Pinnacle

Washington Wizards vs. LA Clippers
When you’re hot you’re hot and nobody has been hotter than the Washington Wizards recently. Washington has won and covered their last five games with their latest victory a win over the Utah Jazz by the score of 88-84 as three-point road underdogs in NBA odds.

If the Clippers pattern continues then it does not bode well for them as they have won two, lost two and won two straight up with all those winners covering except their 99-92 win over Charlotte on Tuesday night where they failed their backers as 10-point favorites.

John wall and veteran Paul Pierce have been instrumental in leading the Wizards to their most recent winning streak. Wall is averaging 22.4 PPG and shooting at a 58.9 percent clip while Pierce has averaged 17 points and connecting on a stunning 62.2 percent of his shots in his last four contests.

In the last meeting between the clubs the Wizards came away with a 104-96 victory back in December and are 4-1 ATS over the last three seasons against the Clips. I like what I am seeing in the Wizards and I am even more enthusiastic about the 6 ½ point head start the odds makers are giving us, so back them with your NBA picks.

NBA Pick: Wizards +6.5 at 5Dimes
