Divisional games have been a boon for the Jazz with the "under," and tonight there's another big divisional matchup with the Blazers. Can we expect another low-scoring affair?

The Jazz and Trail Blazers got into a high-scoring affair in November, with Utah winning 112-103 in overtime. Tonight could be much different because I’m pretty sure that was the only time the Jazz have cashed the "over" in a divisional game this season.

Since then they have cashed the "under" in nine straight divisional games, and with both teams coming off rest, look for this one to be more of a defensive battle.

Even though the Jazz have gotten into much higher-scoring games on the road this season, they should be able to buckle down against a Blazers team that turns up their defense when favored at home, which is the case tonight according to the NBA odds board. The Blazers are 14-8 cashing the "under" as home favorites this season, and 24-10 cashing the "under" as favorites overall this season.

The Blazers have started to cash the "over" more at home, but against this opponent that might not be the case. They are holding their opponents to just 102.6 points per game at home, while the Jazz are holding divisional opponents to 98.9 points per game. With your NBA picks, look for this one to be slower-paced and lower scoring than that November matchup.
