NBA Saturday matches up two of the most exciting teams and arguably the greatest team of all-time when the Warriors visit the Thunder. Can OKC upset the NBA odds?

NBA Odds
The other night we went against Golden State and they played a tremendous second half getting the win and cover versus Orlando. Will they continue that momentum against an OKC team that is struggling, or will the Thunder be able to pull off the upset?

NBA odds makers have come out making Golden State a -2.5 favorite like at 5Dimes -110. Although it pains me to go against the Warriors one more time for my NBA pick I will back OKC plus the points. At first glance it seems that Golden State is the easy play especially when we look at the Thunder's recent struggles. Still, OKC is an extremely good team and a very good home team despite the last few games.

Golden State Warriors
Golden State ranks first in the NBA in points scored per game, field goals made per game, two point shooting percentage, and three point shooting percentage. I was extremely impressed by their second half against Orlando the other night as they went into halftime down four points. All they did was come out and dominate the second half by outscoring the Magic 71-51, and doing so coming off a back to back with Oklahoma City coming up next. The situation dictated that they probably should not have dominated as much as they did yet there they were winning another game again. However, this is an Oklahoma City team that matches up with them very well and is extremely talented. Statistically they're not that far behind Golden State and they have two of the best players in the league. I imagine nothing less than this game going down to the wire.

Oklahoma City Thunder
Oklahoma City is averaging 109.8 points per game and rank second in the NBA in field goals made per game and two point shooting percentage. I'm sure they have had this game circled on their calendar since their loss to the Warriors just a few weeks ago. Perhaps it is a contributing reason why they have not played very well losing three of their last four games. Shockingly they lost two games in a row at home, a place where they are well accustomed to winning. Then just the other night they lost by four points at New Orleans. All that being said however, this is a very good basketball team and is arguably the best offensive team behind Golden State. Defensively they should have a lot to springboard off of considering the last time they faced the Warriors they held them to just 43 points in the second half. As well, Golden State shot under 30% from distance the entire game which leads me to believe Oklahoma City has a good idea on how to beat the best team in the league.
