After a day off of the NBA on Thursday for the holiday, and after hitting on two of my three NBA Picks on Wednesday, let’s keep the ball rolling tonight on a big-carded Friday. There are NBA Odds coming out every minute, and I have found some that are extra valuable.

Pelicans vs. Hawks
One of my favorite early games this week is the Pelicans and Hawks, who come in with NBA odds favoring the home team at -2 ½, with a total of 204 ½. However while some sportsbooks have already moved their NBA odds up to 206, the totals at books like BetOnline are staying the same. This gives NBA bettors a nice opportunity to bet the over tonight between these two teams who play little to no defense.

While they are both improving on that end of the floor, this game should be pretty fast paced. Even though the Pelicans don’t play very fast, they have one of the better offensive efficiencies of any team in the NBA through the first 10-12 games. On the other side the Hawks aren’t that efficient this season, but they are going to play fast at home. They are sitting around the top ten in pace this season, and with their defense giving up well over 104 points per game this year, the Hawks should let the Pelicans have plenty of scoring chances.

The over is 5-2 in the Hawks’ last seven home games, and the over has cashed in the last four games in a row with Atlanta as an underdog. For the Pelicans, the over has cashed in eight of their last ten overall games this season, and the over is 5-1 in their last six road games. Take the over tonight and add it to your NBA picks.

Grizzlies vs. Blazers
One of the marquee games on tonight’s slate is the league-leading Memphis Grizzlies playing in Portland tonight against the Blazers. The NBA odds have come out solidly in favor of the Blazers and their hot start, favoring them at -3 1/2, with a total of 192 ½. While it may be one of the better games of the night, I can’t see the Blazers being a good play here. While they are off to a nice start both offensively and defensively, the Grizzlies are by far the best defensive team Portland has played so far this season. Plus, they haven’t played too many good teams yet, leading their numbers to be a bit inflated.

Memphis on the other hand hasn’t played that tough of a schedule, but with their defense giving up only 92 points per game, and with their offense scoring around the 100s almost every night along with it, this team is going to be tough to beat.

On top of all that, the Grizzlies matchup well with the Blazers. Marc Gasol or Zach Randolph will be able to slow down LaMarcus Aldridge, and Mike Conley is going to own Damian Lillard on the defensive end. The Grizzlies have won five of their last six meetings with the Blazers, and they went 4-2 ATS in those six games. While the Blazers did win the most recent matchup last season, they a re only 1-3 ATS in their last four meetings with Memphis. Plus, the Grizz are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall games, and 4-0 ATS in their last four games against teams with winning records. The streak ends tonight for the Blazers, so take the points.
