The sportsbooks have yet to adjust their numbers on the Miami and Milwaukee total tonight and we are advising an over play. The Bucks play much faster at home and with the return of Khris Middleton, the Bucks get an emotional lift for their high-flying offense.

Heat vs. Bucks

The Miami Heat are probably going to be without Dion Waiters tonight after he sprained his ankle in the third quarter on Monday. However, that probably won’t stop this game from getting up and down in a hurry.

The Heat are starting to play faster and have moved up to 22nd in the league in pace. They are still below average, but they are also playing much faster than they were through the first third of the season.

The Bucks rank just above the Heat at 20th, but at home this season, the Bucks go from a pace of 95.6 possessions per game overall to 99.2. With the Heat also getting slightly faster on the road, this one is an over play tonight.

The Heat have cashed the over in three straight games and four of their last five, while the Bucks have cashed the over in three of their last four and six of their last eight overall. The Bucks are also 19-6 cashing the over at home, but the sportsbooks have yet to adjust for their increased pace at home, where they average nearly 110 points per game.

The Bucks will also get a lift tonight with Khris Middleton returning. He is only playing 15-20 minutes, but just his presence on the court improves this team more than a lot of people (including the books) realize. He will help their offense and he will be another scoring option besides Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.
