Wednesday night features two up and coming teams in the NBA. The Memphis Grizzlies (22-10) continue their trip out west to face the Golden State Warriors (22-11) with head coach Mark Jackson.

Memphis is one of the better road teams at 9-6, so this should be a good one, but maybe a little tough to handicap for our NBA Picks.

Tip-off is scheduled for Wednesday, 10:30 pm ET at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

Despite their almost identical records, 5 Dimes Sportsbook lists Golden State as just a 1.5 betting favorite at home and the total for the game is 189.

It seems that being the established team for a longer period of time has gotten the Grizzlies the respect with the odds makers.

Double-double deluxe

In this game, you have two of their top double-double men in the NBA in Zack Randolph and David Lee. Both were cut from the same cloth as teams shipped them to their current destination despite their continuous production throughout their careers.

Currently, Randolph leads the NBA in double-doubles at 22 and Lee is a close 2nd at 20. This should be a good matchup.

Most underrated player in the NBA?

When the nicks traded David Lee, I couldn't understand it. I still can't understand it. Drafting David Lee was the best move that Isiah Thomas made for NY. This is a blue collar layer that is a great shooter and a great defender of the glass.

You watch the halftime festivities at a game and while the rest of the team is in the lockeroom, David Lee is shooting with a ball retriever on the court. He's a tireless worker and still doesn't get the recognition that he should as one of the better players in the NBA.

In the past, Zack Randolph was a consistent 20 points, 10 rebound per game player, but due to injuries, his offense has slipped ever so slightly. David Lee continues to pepper each venue that he plays at with a solid 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds per game

In Zack Randolph, you have the most traveled double-double man and in David Lee, you have a player that doesn't get the recognition and is one of the main reason why Golden State is a winner.

NBA Betting options for Wednesday~

Stephen Curry

Curry is Golden State's leading scorer and assist man. People always knew that he had potential to be great, it was just a matter of getting past nagging injuries.Indeed, Curry has gotten past the twists and tears as he's an offensive machine when he's not getting others involved.

Stephen Curry is averaging 20.1 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game. He's coming off of a poor performance against the NBA's best in the Los Angeles Clippers. Look for Curry to bounce back, but be tested. Memphis has the top ranked defense in the league, allowing a mere 89.1 points per game.

Memphis is a well rounded basketball team. Along with Randolph, a different player whether it be Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, or Mike Conley Jr, could lead this team to victory on any given night.

Outcome

This game is a complete toss-up. Memphis will have a lot of momentum coming into this game with a 32 point trashing of the Sacramento Kings. Stars will get their points, but look for the defenses to prevail. Take the UNDER in this hard fought contest.
