The Warriors look to extend their edge over the Grizzlies when they kick off game 2 of their second round series tonight. Find out what NBA odds are trading and where the value NBA picks are to be had.

Memphis Grizzlies Absurd Underdogs
The NBA odds are stacked against the Memphis Grizzlies in a big way. Trading at +500 on the NBA odds board for game 2,  there's little open to interpretation. Grizzlies are expected go down 2-0 in this series, one loss away from falling into the playoff sinkhole ( a 0-3 series deficit) from which coming back is nigh impossible (or so it seems).

Unequivocally, the Grizzlies are the long shot NBA pick to win game 2. However, at plus 10.5-points against the spread, they  might be the value NBA pick to cover. They are 3-2-1 ATS in the playoffs, which includes narrowly missing the cover in Sunday's 101-86 defeat as the 10.5-point underdogs.

Sunday's defeat was a disappointing opener to their highly anticipated Western Conference semi-finals. They were without Mike Conley, however, and his absence was felt yet again on both sides of the ball. Conley remains questionable for game 2 after undergoing facial surgery last week.

Don't miss our enticing duo of NBA picks for both of tonight's games!

Golden State Warriors Runaway Faves
The Golden State Warriors are living up to their top billing in the Western Conference. They are riding the momentum of a clean sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans in round 1 of the NBA Playoffs and improve to 5-0 SU after a win in game 1 of the Western Conference semi-finals.  The win also marked their second straight cover in these playoffs.

As it is, they enter game 2 as the runaway favorites at -700 NBA odds and the 10.5-point home chalk. A market stance that is understandable given their regular season account, especially at home. And the positive start to their postseason as well. However, they are pricey nonetheless.

It's curious to note that the Pelicans played the Warriors rather close in the first round, going 3-0 ATS in the first three games before finally succumbing to a season-ending 109-98 loss that saw them fail to cover as the 8.5-point underdogs. Who would have though the Pelicans would give the Warriors a better run for their money than the Grizzlies.

To be fair, it's just one game in a best-of-seven series. The Grizzlies have time yet to perk up and challenge the Warriors, especially if Conley does return to the line-up tonight. Newly-minted MVP Stephen Curry will be wary of Conley if he does take to court. Curry had a standout game 1, posting some brilliant numbers, including a posting a team high 22 points. He might not enjoy so much free range if Conley does play.

NBA Betting Verdict:
The Golden State Warriors are justifiably favored for this game. Nobody would have it otherwise, seeing as they are essentially the team to beat in the NBA Playoffs this season. However, their -700 NBA odds for game 2 seem a touch overzealous, not to mention promise very little value to NBA bettors. So if you're looking to back the Warriors, the 10.5-point spread is where your money should be directed.

For our NBA picks, we're headed in the other direction. We're not keen on writing off the Grizzlies just yet. They were embarrassed by the Warriors in game 1 and they'll be looking to deposit a much better account. At 10.5-points against the spread, they are our NBA pick to cover.

Betting on the win by the Grizzlies is a bit of a stretch. It would take a brave NBA bettor to put down money on such a result with any confidence. But the+500 price tag is tempting. Perhaps, then, it does warrant a small tickle. Just don't go betting the farm on it.

NBA Picks: Grizzlies 10.5 and (small stake) on the outright win at +500
