Sunday’s NBA betting has Dave Joerger’s club heading north against the Sacramento Kings. Let's have a peek at the best betting odds for this game.

The Memphis Grizzlies began their current road trip with Friday’s 89-86 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, ‘pushing’ the closing number as three-point favorites.

Grizzlies, Randolph edge Lakers

Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph piled in 12 of his side’s final 14 points against the Lakers, finishing with a team-high 11 boards. The 13-year veteran connected 11-of-18 field buckets, while sinking 6-of-6 free throws.

Memphis’ Marc Gasol and Mike Conley united for 15 assists, with Gasol adding three blocks. The Grizzlies were held to a 1-for-13 mark from three-point land, while outrebounding Los Angeles by a 51-40 margin.

The tight battle’s combined 175 points plunged beneath the ‘total’ of 197 ½, moving the UNDER to 4-2 in the Grizzlies’ last six games. Memphis allowed 43.8 percent field shooting, while edging the Lakers in fast break points, 14-8.

Kings, Cousins fall at home

The same night’s card saw Sacramento pick up its sixth loss in seven games, dropping a 97-90 battle to the Detroit Pistons. Kings center DeMarcus Cousins notched 26 points and 13 boards, logging his second double-double in three matchups.

Cousins knocked down 12-of-23 shots from the floor, while adding three of his squad’s five blocks. Sacramento’s Isaiah Thomas put up 18 points off the bench, draining 3-of-4 buckets beyond the arc.

Kings guard Greivis Vasquez recorded six assists, while he and his mates were outscored in the paint, 46-34. UNDER backers got the money, with the fourth quarter’s 37 points keeping the duel below its betting odds ‘total’ of 199.

Back Memphis on the road

Memphis opened as a two-point road favorite at Heritage Sports, with the ‘total’ first listed at 189. The Grizzlies head back to Los Angeles for Monday’s matchup with the Clippers, while Sacramento is off for one day before hosting the Phoenix Suns.

I am backing the Grizzlies as part of Sunday’s sports picks, laying the short number in “Sac-Town.”

Memphis picked up victories in all four of last year’s meetings with the Kings, including January’s 113-81 blowout as four-point road ‘chalk.’    Randolph notched a big outing with 17 points and seven boards, while Sacramento was held to 36.8 percent night from the floor.

The Kings have put up a meager 93.3 PPG in their last six contests, with a 1-3 ATS mark in the span’s four home affairs. Sacramento has allowed visiting foes to hit field buckets at 50 percent, including a 36.8 percent clip behind the arc.

Memphis should target for a victory in this spot, with a more challenging duel looming on no rest against the Clippers. The Grizzlies sole spot this year played as the front end of a back-to-back saw Randolph and Co. outlast Detroit in a 111-108 overtime win.

Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has had a hot hand, connecting 18-of-27 floor shots through his last four games. Look for Memphis to hold off the Kings here, handing another losing ticket to Mike Malone’s crew at a low premium.
