After a nice week of NBA action, I am back again this week to kick off your Monday with a bang! There are eight games on tap tonight, and with great NBA Odds value tonight, I have two more games that I’m adding to my NBA Picks.

Magic vs. Raptors
After their big win in New York last night, the Raptors are heading back home to play the Magic tonight. Orlando finally got Nikola Vucevic back into the lineup in their game on Friday, and he played a full compliment of minutes. This is huge for the Magic who were really struggling down low without him, and with the Raptors tired, the NBA odds have lowered from -10 in favor of Toronto, to -7. This is a big jump, and I don’t think it’s the right move.

The Raptors are still down DeMar DeRozan for the next few weeks, and without him it’s going to be tough to cover this spread. However back at home, I see them covering the -7 spread. Even though Orlando covered the last time these two teams faced off against one another in early November, the Raptors have been playing better defense since then. As long as they can shut down Vucevic down low, and frustrate Tobias Harris on the wing, it should be a win and cover for the Raptors. Lay the points, and add it to your NBA picks tonight.

Free NBA Pick: Raptors -7

Pistons vs. Clippers
The late game tonight also happens to be the biggest spread of the evening by far. The NBA odds have the streaking Clippers as -12 ½ favorites, with a total of 204. Even though I do think the Clippers could cover this lofty spread, the total looks like a much better value. At 204, this total is far too low for the defenseless Pistons, and a Clippers team that can leave a driving lane open every once in a while too.

On the season the Pistons are giving up nearly 99 points per game, and while that may not be that bad in the standings one through 30, against one of the better scoring teams in the NBA, it’s going to be tough for them to get stops. While they will be able to match up well in the frontcourt, the Clippers guards are going to eat Detroit’s backcourt alive. To his credit, Brandon Jennings has been playing ok defense at times this season, but he won’t be able to stay with Chris Paul very easily.

For LA, the over is 5-1 in their last six games following a SU loss, and for both teams, dating back to last season, Mondays have been very good for the over. The Pistons are 14-3 cashing the over in their last 17 Monday games, while the over is 7-2 for LA in their last nine Monday contests.

It should be a very up and down game with plenty of pace tonight, and while it may not be a lock, this play is one of my favorite of the evening. The Pistons are coming off of a win that they will want to build on, while the Clippers just lost to the Bucks, and they will want to right the ship.

Free NBA Pick: OVER 204
