The Golden State Warriors are locked into the 2-seed in the Western Conference, and with all their starters minus Stephen Curry are set to play on Saturday, they have no real need to stretch their guys thin tonight against the Kings. What kind of game can we expect if this is the case?

Warriors vs. Kings

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3264167, "sportsbooksIds":[19,93,1275,180,169], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":2}[/]

Free NBA Pick: OVER 107 ½ 1H

Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

The Warriors will likely have Klay Thompson back from a fractured thumb on Saturday night, so with Kevin Durant back and Draymond Green healthy again, this team will have to find a way to weather the storm without Stephen Curry.

Tonight they are on the front half of a back-to-back against the lowly Kings, but with so much disarray going on with the Warriors, it’s hard to see them playing at their best tonight still without Curry. With Durant and Thompson both working back from weeks-long layoffs, there will be some issues.

The main one might be on defense, especially first half defense. The Kings are averaging 54 first half points per game against the Warriors this season, and that should continue Saturday night.

Considering the Warriors are averaging nearly 60 points per first half in divisional games this season, the first half over in the late game is also a viable wager. The Warriors are going to play fast and loose in this game, with rhythm and offensive timing more of a concern than defense and winning the game.

There is no point to also risk injury to Durant or Thompson coming back recently. I will be surprised if either of those guys plays more than 25 minutes, and Green likely won’t tough 30 again like he did the other night.

This should lead to more offense for the Kings, and at least in the first half, look for the score and pace to be higher as well.
