We’ve hit a bit of a snag over the last half week in our NBA Picks, but with the Spurs coming in to Toronto on Friday to play the Raptors, the oddsmakers have left some holes in these odds, and I’m ready to take advantage.

The Spurs are without Kawhi Leonard once again after he suffered what looks to be a setback with his quad injury. It’s starting to become concerning for the Spurs’ chances in the playoffs, and it should be concerning Friday in one of the tougher places to play in the NBA. The NBA Odds have the Raptors at -6, which is pretty fair considering the Spurs’ injuries to Leonard, Manu Ginobili, and Rudy Gay, all out tonight.

However, while I do like the Raptors on both ends of the court, I think the total is a better value option in this one. The Spurs come into tonight cashing the 'under' in four straight games, and I think they make it a fifth. San Antonio has been the best 'under' cashing team in the league when playing on the road this year, cashing at 18-7. They are 14-7 on the 'under' when playing an East team on the road against the East, they have cashed the 'under' at 8-3.

The Raptors are 9-8 cashing the 'under' as a home favorite, and they have hit the 'under' in six of their last nine home games. Toronto is allowing 102.5 points per game at home this season, and with the Spurs allowing just 94 points per game over their last five, there is a good chance one or both of these teams fall below 100 points.
