Toronto and Indiana have been two of the best offensive teams in the NBA this season, and tonight in Indianapolis offense should be on full display between these Eastern Conference foes.

Toronto Raptors at Indiana Pacers

Even though the NBA odds for the total of this game are sitting at 215, which is the second-highest mark on this slate, there is a chance that this is the highest-scoring game of the night.

Toronto has been one of the most efficient offenses in the league this season, and with Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan leading the way the Pacers have very little chance of slowing down those two. The Pacers’ defensive rating is only 108.1, but I’m guessing the Raptors score upwards of 110 on the road.

The Pacers haven’t been bad, either, this season. Their fast-paced transition-based offense with tons of transition shot attempts has led to them averaging nearly 110 points per 100 possessions, and they have an offensive rating of 53.5%, which ranks just outside the Top 10 teams in the NBA.

That could lead to a very high-scoring game, and I am pretty surprised that the total is as low as it is. If Indiana has its way and plays fast, the total should probably be closer to 220 points. Toronto is averaging more than 112 points per game over its last five and its offensive rating of 112.4 makes me think the 'over' is the play.
