Swinger has been stone cold money since he began releasing his Friday night NBA picks for SBR. The man himself stands at a stunning 10-2 ATS delivering another pair of winners last Friday and is locked and loaded to cash two more ATS covers tonight!>

San Antonio (53-26 SU, 41-36-2 ATS) vs. Houston (53-25 SU, 45-32-1 ATS)
Alright let's get started. I am plunging head long into the marquee matchup tonight and that is the game between the Spurs and the Rockets. As anyone knows who has even been casually watching hoops lately, the San Antonio Spurs have been a veritable ATM, reeling off nine in a row both straight up and against the number and doing the same in 12 of their last 13. This team is suh-mokin’ and have catapulted themselves into the thick of the Western Conference playoff picture as they are one of five teams in a virtual deadlock for seeds two through six.

But one of those five teams in that mix is the club they are facing this evening and the very same team they played in their last game on Wednesday night....I speak of course of the Houston Rockets.

The game Wednesday night was not pretty for Houston as Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard led the Spurs to a 110-98 victory and yet another cover in NBA odds for a San Antonio juggernaut that is rolling like a freight train downhill. But tonight's game is in Houston and the Rockets get some home cookin' after spending five of their last six games on the highway.

Here are a few betting trends to consider:

Spurs are playing their third game in four nights.

We know the Spurs have been unconscious during this streak, yet they've dropped four straight and seven of eight at Houston, including a 98-81 blowout back in their only meeting this season in Houston on November 6th.

Let's not forget on Wednesday night James Harden was coming off a 41 point night against the Thunder and had scored 51 a few nights earlier against Sacramento. The man was due for an off night and he had it shooting only 6-for-15 from the floor against the Spurs Wednesday night in their 12 point loss.

The Spurs are 0-6 ATS as a road favorite of three points or less

The Rockets are 8-1 ATS over the past three seasons as underdogs of three points or less

Houston is 5-0 ATS this season after playing three consecutive road games

Houston is 11-2 ATS after a loss of 10 points or more and don't you think that a team who gets up for games after getting embarrassed will be even more up for a game against the very team that embarrassed them in the last game they played? Well I sure as hell think so which is why the Houston Rockets +3 at home are one of my two NBA picks tonight.

Memphis (53-25 SU, 38-39-1 ATS) vs. Utah (36-42 SU, 42-34-2 ATS)
The Jazz have gone 24-17-2 against the NBA odds since Quin Snyder took over the reins in January and the team appears to be getting their groove on, albeit far too late. Utah has rattled off five straight up and ATS covers in six attempts with their latest conquest coming courtesy of a 103-91 victory over the lowly Sacramento Kings.

The Memphis Grizzlies are vying for the number two seed in the Western Conference and the game tonight is far more crucial to them than the Jazz. That being said NBA odds makers tend to keep this in mind with a view towards the betting public getting down early and often on the team with something to play for like the Grizzles. Memphis point guard Mike Conley is questionable for the game with a foot injury that has been rearing its head throughout the season.

The Jazz have taken two of three from the Grizzlies this season with their most recent meeting resulting in a 93-82 victory for the 7 ½ point road dogs on March 3rd. The squares will no doubt take a gander at the playoff bound Grizzlies and their 53-25 record and immediately anoint them as the team to bet versus a Jazz club that has had no rhythm (did you see what I did there?) throughout much of this season. Yet, even when Utah was not playing well and before Snyder took over they still stunned Memphis 97-91 in their first meeting as eight-point road dogs. Utah has thrived in the underdog role this season with a 31-22 ATS mark.
