Both of these teams are having nightmare seasons for entirely different reasons, but it has really affected their offense. Keeping that in mind, the NBA Odds for the under are looking very nice with the Bulls playing better defense.

 Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls

I can’t tell which team is having a worse season, the Bulls or Heat. Miami has just been misfortunate with injuries and Chris Bosh’s situation, but the Bulls are just one big drama-fest.

That could play into tonight’s game, though. The Heat might be without Hassan Whiteside tonight, which will hurt their offense almost as much as their defense. They are still without Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson, and of course, Chris Bosh hasn’t played, while Justise Winslow is out for the year.

Over their last five respective games, these two teams are 7-2-1 cashing the under and overall they are two of the worst offensive teams in the league, ranking 18th and 27th in offensive rating.

I doubt this game will be played very fast either. The Bulls have a pace of just under 97 possessions per game at home this season, while the Heat have a road effective field goal percentage of just 47.9%.

With Miami only averaging 96.6 points per game on the road, even with their recent scoring surge, they should fall back to earth tonight in Chicago. They were playing pace up teams over three of their last five games and were still cashing the under. Don’t expect their offense to be very good tonight.
