The Pistons have been playing better basketball as of late and despite a loss to the Spurs in their last game, they are still 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. I see them continuing that tonight on the road against the wavering.

  Detroit Pistons vs Toronto Raptors

The Raptors are still in a noticeable slump after starting the year hot. The loss of DeMar DeRozan for a handful of games hurt them in the standings, but even with DeRozan back in the lineup, they are looking iffy.

The only games they have won SU are against bad teams that are nowhere near the playoffs right now. In fact, their last SU win against a current playoff team came over a month ago. Teams are figuring out their offense now that they have some tape on them and even more importantly their defense is starting to fail on them at times.

The Pistons, on the other hand, may be starting to figure things out. The Pistons are almost as talented as the Raptors, yet they are getting +7 on the road even on one day’s rest.

The Pistons are not seven points worse that Toronto, even in their own building. Plus, these two teams are polar opposites from where they were at the beginning of the season where the Raptors were playing well and the Pistons were without Reggie Jackson.

The Pistons are 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall and while the Raptors are a league-best 20-9 ATS in conference games this season, the Raptors are just 3-4 ATS in their last seven against the East and 5-7 ATS in their last 12 games.
