Let's get started, we are ready to make the best NBA picks for Friday. Let's analyze the NBA odds now! Don't make a move without reading this betting preview. Get ready to start the weekend here.

Blazers vs. Raptors
The Blazers and Raptors are two very good teams, and it should be a great game tonight in this inter-conference showdown. The NBA Odds makers have the Raptors as -5 ½ favorites, and while this line is pretty sharp, the total of 208 points is a number that is quite beatable tonight. Portland did lose pretty badly in their most recent game against the Celtics, but now continuing their rodeo road trip north of the border; the points should be plentiful tonight.

The Raptors have been very solid scoring the ball at home recently, and in their last eight home games dating back to the end of January, the Raptors are scoring an average of 106 points per game. While neither of these two teams play at a very fast pace, their offenses are still very good despite them not playing as many possessions. However, despite that the over has now cashed in six of the Raptors’ last eight games, and in seven of the Blazers’ last ten games as well.

In their first meeting this season about a month ago, the final score ended with the over easily cashing with a final score of 110-103 in favor of Toronto. While the Blazers have been playing well recently, their defense has been sporadic as of late. The Blazers have given up at least 115 points in two of their last five games, and against a team that can score in a variety of ways, I am looking for the Raptors to hold serve at home, and drop another 105-110 points on Portland. Toronto is riding a nice home winning streak tonight as well, so take the over and add it to your NBA Picks.

Wolves vs. Bucks
While the Wolves and Bucks is probably not a game you are actively setting your DVR for tonight unless you live in the great white north, but for our purposes tonight the NBA Odds for this one seem like some really good value heading into Friday night. The NBA odds have the Bucks as -5 ½ favorites, but it’s the total of 213 ½ that looks like a much better value. On the surface it would seem as if these two defenseless teams are going to put up a high scoring game against one another, but if you look closer, the under actually looks like the better play.

The total is already starting to lower slightly from 213 ½ to an even 213, and a big reason is their recent games against one another, as well as their pace of play. Both of these teams play at a pace that ranks them in the lower third of the league, and in their first meeting against one another, that was on full display with a final score of 95-85 in favor of the Bucks. Now against one another in Milwaukee, the under looks like a very valuable wager.

Even potentially without Michael Carter-Williams tonight, the Bucks have the pieces to put up a nice defensive stand against the Wolves. The Bucks are only giving up 102 points per game at home this season, and while the Wolves have had some higher scoring games recently, most were against faster paced teams that Milwaukee. Minnesota is only averaging 101 points per game on the road this season, and despite these two teams getting into some higher scoring game recently, this is the type of game where it could all come crashing down. I see a final score of about 101-97 in this one, so add the under to your NBA Picks.
