Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers play Game #2 of their Best of 7 Round Series. Don't make a move without reading this betting preview & check our NBA Pick inside.

Toronto vs. Cleveland (-12-) 8:35 PM ET
In 3 NBA Picks this week, I haven’t even sniffed the win column going 0-3 ATS with pointspread losses of 14 on Monday with Golden State, 20 on Tuesday with Toronto and 18 on Wednesday with OKC. Based on the information at hand, I would have made all those selections again considering the factors involved.

It was the 2nd time the Raptors were extended to a 7 game series while Cleveland is 9-0 SU in the Playoffs after 4 game sweeps of Detroit and Atlanta.

In the Game #1 blowout, the Cavs outshot the Raptors 55 to 42%, converted 26 foul shots to the Raptors 15 and had a massive +22 net rebound margin. The All Star back court of the Raptors, who averaged over 45 PPG in the regular season, combined for just 26 points. Only 3 Raptors scored in double figures. Every quarter was won by Cleveland who were led by their Big 3 of Irving (27 points), James (24 points) and Love (14 points). Today’s handicappers conundrum is whether the Raptors, behind their struggling guard tandem, have anything left in their tank and whether Cleveland is simply unbeatable by any Eastern Conference foe. In the previous series against Atlanta, the Hawks clogged the paint forcing Cleveland to the arc.

The Cavs responded by averaging nearly (20) 3 pointers/ game in the 4 game sweep. On Tuesday the Raptors extended their defense to the arc with Cleveland settling for only a 7 for 20 shooting night on 3 pointers. But they left the paint unguarded allowing the Cavs to score 56 points on the interior. James insists the Cavs are a balanced team, that they are able to adjust and score in whatever way the defense dictates. To date, that seems to be the case. It certainly would help the Raptors cause if 7 footer Valanciunas (ankle) was able to make post. But that seems unlikely, at least in the early games of this series.

With all the above a well-known fact, we have seen this line open at a bloated 12 points and rise to 12½ with the onslaught of public betting. But I have seen this movie before and am well aware that Game #2 road dogs getting double digits off a blowout loss are a better than 75% situational play. This NBA Odds certainly not easy to make but I invite you to join me in my NBA Picks on the Toronto Raptors in their Thursday night game in Cleveland.
