Odds Overview
The Grizzlies ended up on the losing side yesterday, but will be looking to bounce back immediately when they take on the Pacers, who were able to pick up a nice win at home last night.

Right now, we see Memphis favored on the NBA odds board, but only by a point. This should be a very competitive game, as both teams are contenders in their respective conferences, but it is interesting to see Indiana as such a small underdog. It just goes to show how good the Pacers have been over the past week or so.

Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies have lost two in a row and four of their last five, thus falling to an even 14-14 overall on the season. They've certainly endured their fair share of struggles already, and that's led to some starting lineup changes already, with Zach Randolph and Tony Allen moving to the bench and Matt Barnes and Jeff Green replacing them.

We've seen mixed results from the changes, and it looks like Memphis is suffering from some kind of identity crisis. We haven't heard of any changes, so we can expect to see the same starting five for tonight's game against Indiana.

So while others may think we'll see a slow-pace game between the Grizzlies and Pacers here, we believe the opposite may be true and that points may be easier to come by than expected. Both teams have been playing at higher tempos this season, and it's going to be interesting to see who wins out in what will be the second game in as many nights for both of these teams. Marc Gasol will be at the heart of everything Memphis does this evening and should have a big game in this one.

Indiana Pacers
Things are going well for the Pacers right now, as they've won three in a row to improve to 16-9 on the season, and they're now just a game and a half back of Cleveland for the top spot in the division.

Led by Paul George, who continues to play at a very high level night after night, Indiana appears to be a legit threat in the Eastern Conference, a conference that has all of a sudden become much more competitive. George, however, has been outstanding and it's clear that this is his team and will continue to be his team so long as he's healthy.

The supporting cast in Indiana has worked out well too, with Monta Ellis, George Hill, Rodney Stuckey, C.J. Miles, Ian Mahinmi and others all making their presence felt.

NBA Pick
You've got to like what the Pacers have been doing, but we just don't think they'll be able to muster up enough to get the win this evening.

Memphis was also in action last night, but gets to return home, and we know the motivation will be there for the Grizzlies, who haven't been playing as well and could really use a win to boost their confidence. They've been shuffling their rotations in hopes of finding something that works, and it just hasn't come together.

But, that's not to say Memphis should be faded. We actually like the Grizzlies to make a push up the standings and work out their kinks in the process, and we like them to win and cover this evening too. They will have a big advantage inside over Indiana, and we expect Gasol in particular to have his way with the Pacers bigs. With our NBA picks, we're going to side with the home team to break this losing run and get a much-needed victory.
