Milwaukee has been very puzzling this year, having some talent but not playing as well as they probably should. Tonight though there is good betting value on them to take this game to the wire.

NBA Odds
NBA Odds makers have this game at +5.5 across the board on Milwaukee getting the points. For one of my NBA picks I'm going to take those points and back a pretty talented Milwaukee team to stay in this game until the end. You can still get pretty good odds at Pinnacle Sports getting the points +105.

Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland is averaging 104.1 points per game, shooting 46.5% from the field, and 35% from beyond the arc. They have been really efficient on offense this year but they are still without Kyrie Irving. Probably what I like best about this Cavaliers team is how well they share the ball averaging 25.9 assist per game which ranks third in the NBA. Tonight they are facing a defense in Milwaukee that has been only subpar, but I expect Cleveland to face a little tougher opposition tonight for three reasons, the Bucks should be a little more motivated to face the best team in the East, Cleveland is on the back to back while Milwaukee had some rest, and Michael Carter Williams is probably back.

Defensively Cleveland has allowed 95.5 points per game, 43.5% shooting from the field, and 33.5% shooting from distance. They have really ramped things up on the defensive end and rank fifth in the NBA in points allowed. They've also been tough in the interior ranking first in the NBA and opponent total rebounds. Along with their top offense if they keep up these type of defensive numbers they will be very difficult to beat come playoff time.

Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee comes in averaging 96.6 points per game, shooting 44.7% from the field, and 36.1% from beyond the arc. For the most part on this end of the floor they have been fine as far as their percentages and tonight they should get a boost with Carter-Williams back in the lineup. It seems that head coach Jason Kidd has had a good impact on him to mold him into a good point guard. Milwaukee has the weapons to score with Cleveland and I expect them to do that tonight at home.

Defensively Milwaukee is allowing 101 points per game, 44.9% shooting from the field, and 32.5% shooting from beyond the arc. They been defending the perimeter rather well but they need to do a better job in the interior as they rank in the lower part of the league in opponent points in the paint at 44 per game. This team has the athletes to compete with just about anybody in the league but so far they haven't had a lot of continuity. I am anticipating this team will continue to improve on both ends the floor as the season continues.

With Greg Monroe, Giannis Antetokounpo, Carter-Williams, and their supporting cast I think Milwaukee has enough to at least take this game to the wire. The fact that Cleveland is coming off a back to back should help even more. For one of your NBA Picks I recommend taking the points with Milwaukee to fight until the end against Lebron and the Cavaliers.
