The Thunder have looked pretty good so far this season and tonight they get another shot at a somewhat easy win against the visiting Heat. As long as they slow down Hassan Whiteside here, the Thunder should have no issue covering their -5 NBA Odds.

Miami Heat vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The Heat are probably in for a long season and things don’t look to be getting any better on Monday as they travel into Oklahoma City to play the Thunder. The NBA Odds have the Thunder as -5 favorites, which might be the most undervalued of any team on this Monday slate.

The Heat have two players, Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic. Outside of those two guys and a few very good role players, the Heat don’t have much of a team in the post big three era. While they can still win a good amount of games with their current roster, they are not going to win or cover on the road tonight in OKC.

The Thunder are very good at slowing down opposing centers, which should limit Whiteside enough tonight to keep the Heat from threatening in this one. Dragic is a pretty good defender, but he is no match for Russell Westbrook tonight.

While Dragic could easily still have a big game, with the Thunder’s depth and talent, it’s hard to see Miami keeping this one close.
