It’s back to the grind here on Monday with a huge slate of NBA Odds to take a look at. I have found some value in the Bulls and Raptors tonight, and it could be beneficial to your NCAAB bankroll.

Bulls Injury Update
The NBA odds were late coming out for this game because of multiple injuries to the Bulls, and all of them are having a big affect on the lines for this game. Pau Gasol will be out tonight for the Bulls and Derrick Rose is doubtful as well. On top of that, while reports had Jimmy Butler as likely to return Monday night, there has been no official word on it, and with all these Bulls banged up, as a fan of the team I wish they would have just packed it in at the trade deadline and succumbed to the fact that this team needs to be rebuilt.

The NBA Odds for this one favor the Raptors at -9 ½, and there are even some books that have the line at an even -10. The total for this one is 205 points, and while the Bulls’ lack a lot of offensive firepower tonight, they could also very easily give up a ton of points in this one.

Before the season started most people assumed that these two teams would be the second and third ranked team in the East by the time we got to this point of the season. While that has been true for the Raptors, it has been anything but for the underachieving Bulls. Chicago’s coaching change has so far been a huge mistake, and while Tom Thibodeau had his faults, especially on offense, this team at least never underperformed under Thibodeau. Under management’s golden boy, Fred Hoiberg, the team has suddenly turned into a defense optional team, and while they have looked great during short stretches, injuries and inconsistency has killed this club.

The Sharp Pick
Even if Butler is able to play in this one, the Bulls’ defense has been really bad recently. The Bulls have given up an average of 108 points per game over their last six contests, and while the over was only 3-3 during that stretch, the Bulls are 19-12 this season cashing the over on the road, and the over has cashed in the last six meetings in a row between these two teams.

For the Raptors, they have cashed the over in six of their last nine overall games, and they are 18-14 cashing the over when playing at home this season. The Bulls are 23-15-1 this season cashing the over against the East, and the two teams are a combined 55.48-2 cashing the over in non-divisional games this season.

With the Raptors coming in scoring an average of 109 points per game in their last six straight, I see them taking full advantage of a banged up Bulls tonight, and scoring a ton of points. Take the over and add it to your NBA picks.
