Our handicapping professional previews Saturday’s game between Sacramento and Denver. Go inside to read this insightful article in order to possess a superb NBA betting edge.

Denver will host Sacramento on Saturday in a battle of NBA Western Conference rivals. The opening tip at the Pepsi Center in Denver is slated for 9:05 PM ET. Current NBA betting at Ladbrokes has Denver as a 9.0 point favorite and the posted total is 216.0. This will be the third meeting of the season between these teams. Sacramento has won each of the first two encounters and both went over the total.

Depleted Kings Lineup
Unless something unforeseen occurs, Sacramento will be without four key players this evening. DeMarcus Cousins (suspension), Rajon Rondo (rest), Marco Belinelli (foot), and Omri Casspi (hamstring) are all expected to miss Saturday’s contest in Denver. Putting those manpower losses in perspective, those four players have combined to average 60.7 points, 25.2 rebounds, and 18.2 assists per game this season.

Of course those absences are already incorporated into the point spread, but it’s certainly worth noting, especially in case you believed this was an absolute steal with Sacramento being such a sizable underdog according to the NBA odds boards, and versus an opponent possessing a losing record.

On a positive note for Sacramento, they’ve gone 7-1 ATS during its last eight games, and that includes covering each of their previous five contests. However, keep in mind that Sacramento is 30th pertaining to NBA scoring defense allowing 109.1 points per game. The Kings will also be without 56.8% of their scoring offense tonight.

Golden Nuggets in Recent Home Games
Denver has won 5 of their previous six home games, and was also a profitable 4-2 ATS in those contests. During its last five at the Pepsi Center, Denver held opponents to 98.4 points per contest, and just 40.5% shooting. Considering they’ll be facing a shorthanded opponent today, they’ll be in prime position to atone for their earlier losses at the hands of Sacramento.

Final Take and Pick
Sacramento will be playing in their third game in four days, but hasn’t played since Thursday. On the other hand, Sacramento was a 112-106 loser at home to Miami last night, and they’ll also be playing in its third game in four days. Considering Sacramento’s current depth issues, the lack of rest factor certainly will take its toll on them more so than Denver. I’m leaning heavily toward the home favorite in this contest for one of my Saturday NBA picks.
